May Stated Meeting
University Lodge No. 51 was proud to invite Northeast Chapter of the Order of DeMolay to our Stated Meeting on May 8th, 2023 to perform the “Flower Talk” ceremony. The Order of DeMolay is one of the Masonic Youth Groups that we sponsor. It is open to boys between the ages of 12 and 21 to join. The organization has been in existence since 1919 and Pennsylvania is celebrating it’s 100th year since DeMolay was instituted in the jurisdiction.
With May being the month that we celebrate Mother’s Day, the program for the night was opened up to the wives and significant others of the members to witness this beautiful ceremony dedicated to honoring motherhood. The room was packed with members and guests. Ian and Chris from Northeast Chapter performed the ceremony to perfection and you could see some of the ladies and even members holding back some tears. University Lodge No. 51 also presented a check to Northeast Chapter in the sum of $1000 to help them with their expenses for the chapter.
